Making it happen

Enjoyed the Earl’s ‘Chamber On Tap’ series event yesterday in the Rhino room. I now have another pile of videotape to edit. The Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce has been a dream to work with so far, and anything I can do to continue to provide value is a good thing. I think I’ve found the right seat for the short term, but moving forward I think I can do more…
I’m hoping to help out with a local charity in April, and in doing so share the stage with a major Canadian comedy star. Stay tuned for news on that one…
I’m having fun waving QR codes around everywhere. It’s great being the kid with the shiny new toy that everyone wants to see. I think I’ll have to make a habit of this.
Having the kids home sure improves my mood. Once they have their initial night here, they wake up the gentlemen I remember sending away last week. One box of lego has captured them for over 3 hours of friendly playtime tonight. Having a brother must be cool.
Work is just steaming along. I can’t believe I’ve actually retained the vast amounts of information I gained in Good to Great, the E-Myth, and Mastering the Rockefeller Habits. Answers seem to come easier now, and I’m more self assured about what should be done. Of course I could be headed for a masterful dead end explosion at 120 mph, but somehow I don’t think so. One of my projects for 2011 is to surround myself with smart people, and I’m off to an excellent start.
